Owner, Design Director

Michigan interior designer, Shawna Davidson Guiett, began her design career by majoring in interior design at Andrews University.  She completed her interior design degree as well as a degree in marketing education a few years later at Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, Michigan.  Then began a new chapter in her career as she taught high school marketing, managed retail clothing stores and a little more than 20 years ago became a business professor at a large Michigan college. As a professor, she coordinated several programs for the college, including interior design, fashion merchandising and business management.  In 2003, Shawna founded and incorporated her design firm, Davidson Design.  During 2005 Shawna renovated and moved into her current business location in Old Town Saginaw Michigan. Her many years as a top-producing sales rep, business manager and educator provided her the opportunity to develop her design, organizational and management skills that she now can apply to interior design and remodeling projects.  Utilizing her creative talent and eye for design, Davidson Design provides full-service interior design, space planning, and project management for kitchens, baths, and living spaces.  Shawna holds an AAB in Management and Marketing from Lake Michigan College, a BS in Marketing Education and Interior Design from Western Michigan University, and a M.Ed. in Vocational Industrial Education from Penn State University.  Shawna is Executive Director and member of Michigan Collegiate DECA and a member of ZONTA International.
